As of January 2024, Member States include Bahrain, Bangladesh, Cyprus, Djibouti, The Gambia, Ghana, Greece, Jordan, Kuwait, Morocco, Nigeria, Oman, Pakistan, Qatar, Rwanda and Saudi Arabia.

The Digital Space Accelerator (DSA) is an innovative cooperation mechanism that the DCO General Secretariat created to bring together Thought Leaders, Subject Matter Experts, and Decision Makers from diverse sectors, including governments, the private sector, international organizations, academia, and civil society. The primary aim of DSA is to foster a multi-stakeholder collaboration to design and propose actionable solutions that address the key barriers to a thriving, sustainable, and inclusive digital economy.

The DCO’s Digital Prosperity Awards aims to develop digital skills among youth and increase the visibility of new digital ecosystems and centers of innovation. They will reward countries, organizations and communities that drive digital progress and accelerate the growth of the digital economy. Areas of recognition will include e-government development, internet infrastructure development and startup environment.

The Digital Economy Navigator (DEN) is a global assessment tool measuring digital economy maturity through a combination of established quantitative indicators and a comprehensive global survey of 27,081 respondents in 50 countries. The Navigator serves as a guiding tool that allows countries to identify gaps and best practices, drive policy agendas for countries and creates a platform for capacity building.

IMPACT is a marketplace for digital solutions and services that advocates for multilateral partnership and cooperation. It encourages the exchange of knowledge, cultivates digital ecosystems, and enhances capabilities for effective digital government transformation. The platform aims to catalyze the adoption of digital solutions across the DCO ecosystem to facilitate more efficient government operations and service delivery. It also aims to foster economic growth, innovation, investment attraction, and job creation, in addition to contributing to accelerating progress towards achieving the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals. The emphasis on multilateral cooperation through IMPACT also promotes stronger diplomatic relations for the exchange of technological innovations, enriching the global community. IMPACT’s ultimate goal is to ensure that digital prosperity is accessible to all citizens within the DCO Member States.
